The white space
Hello and welcome! Today, we are doing a short one… I know, I know, it’s not Monday, but I had to take some “White Space”. That is what you do when there is an overload going on in your life. When I went to through the Live Editing For Beginners course, that is something we were taught and I did not know when I would need it.
White Space is a concept heard of before that is not always practiced by busy moms like me. Are you one of those “I am saving the world, the universe, and my family” women too? Well, I am here to tell you that if we take a little time to practice White Space, it will make a world of a difference.
You simply take time to do NOTHING for a little while. Just stay. Just be. Organize your thoughts and time. That can be so hard to do! When we have a million things going on, mommy or not, white space is just not an option in our mind – but it should.
Even if it is an hour, a half hour, or a day (if you can manage it), do it. Do NOTHING and just be. This will help rejuvenate you and make some breathing space in your mind. The mind needs some breathing room too.
I leave you today with a simple thought: make some White Space in your life. I am learning how to incorporate it daily and sometimes we may need it more than others.
